Wings of Remembrance
Product Description: Giclée Fine Art Print
The Story
Marking a significant milestone, Wings of Remembrance was my first commissioned piece after returning to my studio. It was created for a close friend in memory of her mother, inspired by a specific moment when butterflies appeared as a comfort to her family. I used heavy-body acrylics and an impasto style to give the sunflower a deep, physical texture that stands out against the dark teal background. My goal was to capture the vibrancy of that memory and the peace found in nature’s simple signs. This painting serves as a bright reminder that the beauty of a life lived stays with us forever.
The Print:
Experience the rich depth and structural presence of Nicole Myers McMains’ original impasto work in a premium, museum-grade reproduction.
Each piece is individually produced by master printmakers utilizing ultra-high-definition archival pigment inks. The advanced giclée process faithfully captures every dramatic shadow, paint ridge, and subtle color transition of the original heavy-textured canvas, bringing the spirit of the studio directly into your space.
Premium Material Details:
The Paper: 100% cotton mold-made Hahnemühle William Turner (310 gsm) paper.
The Texture: Genuine artist mold paper featuring a distinct, highly tactile matte watercolor texture.
The Longevity: Acid-free and lignin-free, engineered to resist fading for over 100 years under normal gallery lighting.
